Kersan Art Studio
In 2009, Kersan Art Studio founded by Lenny Ratnasari Weichert who is an artist based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kersan Art Studio is located in the village of Kersan, Tirtonirmolo, Bantul, who has a gallery and pergola where the history of the space originally established by the Community Arts Kua Etnika in 1997 as an art studio is a field of interaction of musicians, poets and theater performers. In 2008 the studio building is switched ownership, and in 2009 Kersan Art Studio was unveiled.
Kersan Art Studio has a role as a 'studio' which in this case is more emphasis on the process and art space open where Kersan Art Studio into a communication space between artists, curators, writers, academics and Kersan Art Studio also cooperates with other institutions, Kersan Art Studio focuses on exhibitions, art projects, music, presentations, artist exchange and residency. With a growing need for practice-art prakti broader then in 2014, established the Kersan Art Foundation Indonesia to manage the entire aspects of the activities carried out by Kersan Art Studio which then also act as a facilitator for the individual as well as the art community both in domestic and overseas in an international context. Founder and Art Director
Lenny Ratnasari Weichert (b.1970, Bandung, Indonesia) Studied at the Indonesian Institute of Art ISI Yogyakarata. As an artist, her work derives from a multitude of corresponding identities entrenched in a depply rooted curiosity about the conflicting aspects of human uniqueness .having always been at the contemplates a multi –layered embeddedness of personality, spirit and gender within this context. By connecthing a distinctive multi-faceted heuristic journey between the orient and occident, she investigates religion,subculture, taboo and the position of women in society. Lenny has participated in various International exhibition in Europe and Asia. Her most recent exhibition include art Biennale, Langkawi, Malaysia; Focus + Indonesia, National Museum of Szczecin,Poland; German – Indonesian project: U(Dys)topia;and Crossing Signs. She lives and works in Jakarta and Yogyakarta, Indonesia and Singapore.

Martinus Dwi Marianto (b. 1956, Jakarta, Indonesia) is a professor in Indonesia Institute of Art, Yogyakarta and studied Creative Arts at The University of Wollongong, NSW, Australia (Ph.D), Printmaking, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI, USA (MFA), Printmaking, STSRI “ASRI”, Yogyakarta, Indonesia and also had a Curatorial workshop in several cities in Japan, sponsored by Japan Foundation Jakarta. Throughout his career he has published several books of art such as Surrealism Yogyakarta and Art and Levitation. When he led as director of Post-Graduate in Indonesia Istitue of Art Yogyakarta, he made a program called One Day Being Crazy in which the program seeks to liberate every human being to be what they want regardless of any profession that is held today. Martinus also curated exhibitions at museums and galleries, national - international.

Nissak Latifah
Director
Nissak Latifah was born in Bali, Indonesia and studied Fine Art (BA) in Indonesia Institute of Art, Yogyakarta. Nissak gathered her management experience in organizing exhibitions with Kersan At Studio and PartNER Yogyakarta. Since 2010 has joined Kersan Art Studio, and also led the Kersan Art Foundation, and with Kersan Art Studio she active to running the residency program and artists exchange such as, Crossing Signs German-Indonesia, Focus + Indonesia in Poland, Webbing Project in Japan, and Breakthorugh in Malaysia. Nissak currently involved in program Yogyakarta Open Studio (YOS) as a project coordinator, and also solo exhibition program implemented with PartNER Yogyakarta.

Satya Bramantya was born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and studied Craft and Design in Indonesia Institute of Art, Yogyakarta (BA). Now he works in Lunar Kreasi in Yogyakarta. in 1999 - 2004 he was a Founder and Director of Benda Art Space, since that time he was involved as a curator and organized fine art, craft and design exhibition in Indonesia and abroad.
